Upon arrival called Bradford white customer service and let the support tech know that the water heater is lighting up every two minutes and that i smell gas coming from the control valve. Bradford white tech support said there might be soot in the burner. Next replaced diaphragm and pilot assembly. Also cleaned out soot in burner area. Upon replacing diaphragm also installed gas drip leg at control valve. Turned gas back on and pilot light right up. Then went to kitchen sink ran hot water to make sure the burner will light back up and it did.
Attempted to locate old galvanized line by connecting the Ridgid ST-305 device to fill valve galvanized elbow which was surrounded by water. Got a reading and located the direction of the line. Exposing line would be ideal to verify that line is where our rigid line transmitter located line.
Upon arrival tested plug at tankless and it is on and working. Next located controller up in the attic. Proceeded to turn on unit and ran water at sink and the unit fired up. Upon turning on unit controller was flashing LC code witch means it has build up in heat exchanger and needs to be flushed. Then went through home to see what the other water heater is serving. Found it to be serving only the back restroom by laundry.
Cleared stoppage with toilet auger.
Dry well has root intrusion in the perforated pipe. We will be running that main line gear to removed the obstruction and clear the line of roots.
Replacing 3/4 anti siphon valve on pool refill line located in back yard
Replaced t/p valve and hooked up drain line. Water heater had to be drained slightly due to side mounted t/p valve. Tested and no leaking. This job is complete
Ran water in master bathroom for 10+ min, checked nortz tankless water heater and is functioning normal with no error codes present. Trim is hansgrohe and is missing the scald button and customer requested for a estimate to replace. This job is complete
Fix gas leak per client requested. Installed new shut off valve and fix leak on gas pipe located on the side of home.
Located diverted valve for leach field system. This estimate covers the first hours of the camera. Any additional time will be $289 an hour. Main line is holding water about 70 feet out. Could not get camera to get past this obstruction. We will be running our main sewer line gear to removed the stoppage and inspect the rest of the line from the septic tank to the dry well. Ran main line gear with 3 inch cutting head. We were successful at clearing the area where the camera was being obstructed. After clearing the line of the root intrusion, the water that was in the line did clear to the dry well. We also ran the camera from the baffle T at the septic tank all the way to the drywell and located the diverter which is about 7 feet down. The line appears to be in good shape. There are no further obstruction in the line at this time.
